Ag Magazine
The only magazine I have a subscription to. No adverts, just thought provoking photographs and technical articles.
I had my photo of Howley wood printed in here a couple of years ago.
Michael Kenna
My favourite Landscape photographer (at the moment!).
His photos are so still and immaculately composed.
Toy Camera
This is a site dedicated to photos taken with toy cameras such the Holga I use.
Always inspiring, toy camera photos give a very different look to subjects.
I also have a gallery here.
Shots Magazine
An American magazine that sometimes has themed issues and always has interesting photography including a couple of mine a few years ago.
St Kilda
The St Kilda site of the National Trust for Scotland.
Describes the history of the archipelago and contains photos and details of how to visit.
Binod Mahat
This is the guide I used when I went to Nepal. A great guy, very conscientious that things go right and his clients are happy and safe.
Hotel Le Chantilly, Cauterets, Pyrenees
This is the hotel we started and finished at on our trip to the Pyrenees. Run by a great Irish couple, Mary and Phil, a very warm welcome is guaranteed with plenty of advice for hiking.
Alojz Pecovec, Slovenia
This is the pension we stayed at for a few nights while in the Bohinj area of Slovenia.
Tania could not have been a more friendly and generous hostess. Welcoming us with home made pear brandy. Huge breakfasts with delicious home made curds and yoghurts. Extremely comfortable rooms in a quiet village location.
Highly recommended.
